Educational Background

Dr. Lora K. Parker (formerly Lora K. Manley) grew up in a small town in Connecticut and graduated from Boston College in 2015 with a B.S. in Biology.

She then attended University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine where she obtained her DMD in 2019 and made the move out to the Midwest to complete her residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics.

Her training in Iowa heavily emphasized dentoalveolar surgery in the outpatient setting under local and IV sedation, as well as implants, trauma, and benign pathology.

Professional Affiliations

After completion of her residency in 2023, Dr. Parker moved to Indianapolis to join her husband, Connor, where he is completing his medical training. Dr. L Parker is a member of the Indiana Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and is board eligible for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Personal Life

Dr. Parker and her husband have two Golden Retrievers, Mazy and Millie, and are expecting their first child in April of 2024. When not at work, they enjoy walking their dogs, traveling, and trying out new restaurants.
